Originally from Grenada, VinylTouch spent the first two decades of his life on the island. He was exposed to all forms of music from single digits of age. He originally learned formal/classical music theory through piano, from his Grandmother, who was the organist. More experience with modern forms of music came from his dad's Disco, Rock, R&B music CDs/records/tapes and as he grew older, more Caribbean influence from radio, fetes and Carnival. He first formally got introduced to "mixing" of music, through rack mount CD players and early forms of DJ software.
Years later, he emigrated to Canada for education, but music collecting/playing always remained a part of his philosophy. It was here he was introduced to mixing on turntables, house parties, private and club events. Whether radio, wedding, private events or clubs, he will take you on a musical journey that is bound to leave u satisfied every time.
